Day Two.
Dear future child,
You may read this like ten years from now. I just want that you to know me as the cool mom who you will be able to hang out with, share stories and have lots of laughs with. Everyone says that once you become a mom, all these protectiveness vibes appear and you automatically become a control freak.
I just want you to know that I was a kid once and I know how fun it is to be one. But “fun” is fun when it’s harmless. I’m saying this because as your life goes on, you will be making decisions that may affect your life how big or small it may be, it may be as small as choosing what to wear or as big as deciding schools.
I just want you to know that these decisions must be thought of very carefully, because the consequences are hard and you must live with them for the rest of your life.
I love you and will always love you even if I don’t know you yet. And I promise I will do my best to make you the happiest kid in the whole world.
