Dancer Contemplations
Sometimes I think I’m a really crap dancer.
Whenever I look at all these really highly trained dancers, and I see myself compared to them, I get really depressed.
All I wanted is to be good. I want to be so much better than what I am now. I’ve been in dance college for about four months now and I feel like I haven’t improved at all. I’m still not good enough.

Today was a landslide of emotions in the “college anticipation” part of my brain. My dad called me this morning and though he wasn’t mad, he wasn’t impressed with the inconsistency of my life decisions. He kept saying that I should study about a field where I can find a good job and I can hear in the tone of his voice that he thinks a performing arts career is ridiculous.

I said this earlier today. Saying that statement a week before enrolment isn’t probably the best idea but that is the honest to God truth.

Future confusions
I miss performing. Proper performing. I miss training every week and being given a list of projects. I miss fitting costumes, making props, rehearsing for hours.
